Common Courtesy Policy
This business division provides specialty products and services through professional customer relations. It is required that the customer have professional relations with this business. The relations are based on mutual respect whereby the business and customer will equally engage in polite and formal contact throughout the duration of the business relations. If these expectations cannot be strictly adhered to, do not conduct business. If these expectations are breached after a business transaction: policy limitations will apply along with a right to refuse services.
Purchase Terms (How to Purchase)
To purchase a replacement module, service, or related product accessory requires the use of this online web store. Use of the store is required to make a purchase and to have communication with a sales or customer service agent using integrated contact form. Communication in negotiation for components will be handled electronically in writing via email initiated from contact form on this website. Communication about products is not handled over the phone. Purchases are not handled over the phone. All purchases of modules will occur on this web store featuring secure credit card processing.
Privacy Policy
We keep your personal information private and secure using advanced encryption techniques and firewall technology. Information provided to register an account on this website and make a purchase is only used to process your order(s), to keep you updated on your purchases and to personalize your shopping experience. We do not share or sell customer provided information. We use "cookies" technology to save an incomplete shopping session and or personalize your experience so that you may retrieve your shopping cart at a later time.
Shipping Policy
For shipments using the standard Priority Mail service these orders will ship within 2-3 business days. For shipments using the Express Mail service these orders will ship the following business day after a completed sale.
For situations involving lost or extremely delayed deliveries the following process applies. Customer must report the undelivered item to us to initiate the process only on items that have not been delivered after 15 Days (Priority Mail) or 7 Days (Express Mail) from shipment date. This is the soonest that a claim can be started.
For an undelivered item, a replacement cannot be provided until the claim for the missing item is settled. After confirmation that we have started the claim, you can wait until settled and receive the replacement, or you can order a second replacement (duplicate shipment). In the event the originally lost item is delivered, please request return shipping label from us to return this un-opened package within 5-business days of delivery. Following this process allows us to be able to keep warranty on the replacement unit on a wait for claim settlement option, or to process a full refund on orders where a duplicate order is placed instead of waiting on claim settlement.
Return for Exchange Policy
Modules and accessories are exchange/replacement only, throughout the duration of the item's warranty. Modules sold are electronic products for replacement use only and cannot be returned for refund.
All exchange scenarios must be pre-authorized by emailing UD Module and receiving acknowledgement before return shipment. Please review the warranty page to identify warranty terms for the type of item.
In the event of an incorrect part is received (error on our part), please make UD Module aware of the issue and we will request return at our expenses and ship out the correct replacement once the previous item has been received.
Use of the core return envelope process for anything other than an actual core is strictly prohibited. A core return envelope cannot be used for the exchange or return of a purchased module as this voids the warranty on the unit and will result in a final core value refund only.
Unauthorized returns will not receive a refund. In the event of an unauthorized return, the return will be refused and the customer will be responsible for shipping expenses back to them; paid only by mail payment, electronic payments and credit cards are not accepted. Items left in an unpaid status, or the results of an unauthorized return are surrendered after 60-Days of receipt and become the property of Unique Diesel.
Refund Policy

In uncommon situations when a return for refund is approved a mandatory restocking rate will apply whereby the refund will be less a 50% restocking fee. Restocking fee applies to the product portion of the sale only. Shipping fees collected are non refundable.
Paid Technical Support, Consultation services, and other paid informational services are non-refundable, regardless of usage or perceived value.
Custom Calibrated Module Return & Refund Policy
UD Module provides accurate speedometer calibration via the DRAC/VSSB module and does this without error. Custom calibration modules are not eligible for exchange warranty due to potential calibration error when order details match vehicle configuration (gear and tire size). When a module is suspected as being inaccurate by means of a viewed speedometer error of 4 MPH or more at 60 MPH there is either a vehicle issue or an error in the details that the customer has provided UD Module to prepare a replacement module. Modules under warranty where the customer discovers themselves that the ordering details do not match the vehicle may request the exchange replacement or re-calibration process. Re-calibration due to order detail mis-match will be processed with a $35 handling fee plus return shipping costs invoiced separately. When the details of the vehicle match the order and there is an error the recommended remedy for this situation is to purchase Paid Troubleshooting services by clicking this text here and providing symptoms that allow the remote technician to guide you to finding the root cause.
If the results of the troubleshooting service determine that your gearing does not match (different than what was anticipated when ordered originally), the module will be requested to be returned to be re-calibrated to match the new findings and will include shipping back to customer (as a courtesy).
Due to the age of the vehicles these modules service, vehicle abnormalities can cause speedometer reading issues which is out of the control of UD Module. Should the customer choose not to use paid troubleshooting services the following option exists.
Return Custom Calibrated module to UD Module for a partial refund. A 50% restocking fee will be assessed against refunded amount less any shipping costs associated with the order. Request for a return authorization in writing via email is mandatory and only un-tampered units will be considered during a 30-day period from purchase date. Return policy excludes modules labeled Custom Calibration sold as PZN Replacement, Missing Label, or purchased with Tech Support.
Core Policy
Refurbished and Re-manufactured DRAC and VSSB Modules are sold with a C.O.R.E charge applied. C.O.R.E stands for Cash On Return Exchange, in current times it means it's a charge applied to a purchase that will be credited when the replaced used item is returned. The core is applied to the product to be added to cart for checkout. Refer to your receipt to see core price applied to item. All cores must be returned to UD Module 30 Days after the tracking confirms receipt of the item you purchased. Core credits may take up to a week to be processed and the refund may take days after being processed before the credit is visible to your original payment method. Refund credits must go to original payment method (typically card); if that is not possible (for example with a card cancellation) the refund will not be granted. Cores returned after 30-days are not eligible for refund but still accepted.
Order Cancellations
Voluntary order cancellations can be requested in writing for an order that is accidentally placed, is a duplicate, or for a specific reason. Cancellation requests must occur prior to an item shipping; where a tracking number is entered for the order. Involuntary cancellations can occur for orders submitted where required ordering information is not provided on the order. Customer service will contact customer via email concerning the order requesting the missing information and will allow 2-business days for customer to reply and provide missing information for the order before processing an order cancellation. For all cancellations UD Module has a 20% order cancellation fee for USA Domestic orders and a 25% fee for International orders to cover transaction fees and accounting expenses that will be deduced from the total refund amount issued. In the event that an order has been prepared for shipment (unit prepared and shipping label generated) the refund will be less a 50% product restocking fee, shipping fees collected are non-refundable.
Duplicate Ordering Policy
UD Module products are typically sold individually to service one vehicle repair and the website is setup to allow only one specific item on an invoice per order transaction. In the event that an identical order is placed in two separate transactions on the same day the second order will be considered a duplicate order and be processed as a cancellation order. In the event of duplicate orders placed on separate dates the same process applies as a cancellation order. While we cannot always catch orders placed that are duplicate and spaced by days or weeks the following applies. If the original unit purchased is still covered under warranty and a duplicate unit order is placed that matches the original, this will void the warranty on the original unit. This scenario occurs when a customer is having a problem with the originally purchased unit, decides to just order another unit instead of going through the warranty exchange process and troubleshoots the problem with both units. This later typically turns into a request for refund on one or both of the units. This type of situation is prohibited, and will void warranty on the original unit purchased.
Very few legitimate situations exist for duplicate ordering, if something is desired in a quantity purchase, please contact us to request a quantity order instead of using the website for the purchase.
Right to Refuse Service Policy
UD values the "Golden Rule" in dealing with people and expects the same of customers.
Unfortunately, a small percentage of customers don't share this value; the following information applies.
UD Module reserves the right to refuse service to anyone. The typical reasons for refusal of services includes being disrespectful, rude, breaking policy, suggesting to or committing fraud. Refusal of service due to rude communication and conduct requires no notice. Cancellation of a purchased product or service after or during rude negotiation for services will follow the cancellation policy. Other times a customer is told formally that services are not available to that customer. Once a business or individual has been told that they will not be provided services by UD Module or parent company this is permanent. Purchases made and caught prior to shipping will be refunded based on the cancellation policy. Successful attempts to circumvent this request by purchases by others etc. will void all warranty service and product guarantees explicitly and is considered fraud. Purchases intentionally financially disputed through Credit Card processors will also result in permanent loss of services from UD Module including warranty. Card dispute customers will be submitted to global card fraud management platforms which affect their card approval rates on other online stores. Disputes initiated by a customer through a 3rd party will end communications between UD Module and customer regardless of outcome. Posting negative feedback publicly about products and services by UD Module will result in no future business with the source customer or individual. Mentions of involving an attorney, or filing of lawsuits or letters from attorneys will also forfeit customer privileges and direct communications. Communication at the mention of legal issues will cease except through certified letter.
If a customer and business cannot settle conflict themselves directly, they need not be doing business.
Disputes
Direct customer accusations concerning fault of unit (Ex: bad, faulty, defective) affects customer eligibility for replacement and other supplemental services. We work hard to produce a quality product and to be told otherwise without consideration that something else may be the actual problem is very offensive.
Engaging in language mentioned above is in violation of our Common Courtesy Policy and will limit service to the minimal required by warranty and will exclude eligibility to supplemental services like paid troubleshooting, consulting, and other paid informational services.
Account Terminations
This website requires account registration in order to make purchases. Account access is a privilege whose eligibility depends on adhering to policy. UD Module reserves the right to disable an active account for any reason found to be in opposition of policy, notably; Common Courtesy, Right to Refuse Service, and Disputes. Disabling of an account is a penalty and tool to enforce the Right to Refuse Service.
Total order cancellations, and returns for refunds suspend future purchase eligibility through account termination. There is a considerable amount of effort involved in providing items and services. When efforts are utilized towards a sale that ends up in a refund, it is always a negative outcome, for many reasons. Order cancellations and returns for refunds are the result of customer expectations that are not in alignment with our purpose, so future business is not welcome.
Liability Policy
UD Module is not liable for damage to property from products or advice or information received from technical services. Products sold are the responsibility of the end user to install correctly and safely also in accordance with regulations. All products and items sold by UD Module and for sale on the UD Module website and online store fall under this stipulation. Any user that does not agree with these terms should immediately request return and refund based on the return policy listed above.
